Our Facilities
The facility and parking lot encompasses an entire block centered by Fonville Street, Church Street and Montgomery Road. Our state-of-the art facility has three chapels for families comfort and convenience. The building is spacious and versatile enough that no family is “second” because one chapel is occupied. Arrangement offices provide a comfortable, spacious and private area for families to make funeral arrangements and pre-needs.
Peoples Funeral Home’s parking lot is paved and striped for your safety. There are three different public entrances into our building. This allows your family and friends easy access to enter our facility. All entrances are wheelchair accessible. There are five on-site restrooms which are also handicap accessible. Our indoor garage houses our vehicles (limousines and hearses).
Our Community
The City of Tuskegee is rich in history and beauty. The historic campus of Tuskegee University holds a statue of Booker T. Washington, the airplane of Gen. Daniel “Chappie” James, and the George Washington Carver Museum—to name a few. There is also historic Moton Field, home of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen, and there are many other sites that are a visitor’s delight.
