Mr. Elijah Barnes,73, a resident of Tuskegee, AL passed Tuesday July 7, 2026 in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 25, 2026 at 10 a.m. from The Living Word Christian Center with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Nearly every Wednesday we got the joy of sharing time with him, hearing his infectious laugh, and listening to his beautiful guitar playing. Elijah was one of a kind. We are so saddened by his passing, but he will live on for years to come in our walls.. Through fond memories of his familiar chord progression, and stories of our wonderful friend.
